Product information "Frame Protection Tape"

The Frame Protection Tape has two main tasks: firstly, to protect the chainstay from the beating chain and the resulting damage to the paint, and secondly, to minimize the noise level of your bike. Thanks to its self-sealing butyl rubber compound, it sticks to almost all materials and can also be quickly and flexibly applied to uneven and curved areas. You can also use it to avoid chafing from cables on the frame and coarse stone chipping on the down tube. For the chainstay, we recommend the narrower 38mm version and for the down tube the wide 52mm version.

INFO:

Bonds on painted, anodised and unfinished surfaces. The surfaces must be degreased before bonding to achieve an optimal result. You can easily cut it with sharp scissors. Avoid tension when applying; otherwise, it will shrink again with time, and you will see glue lines.


Shelf Life:

Five years from the date of manufacture. Store in a clean, dry place at a temperature of 74°F / 23°C and relative humidity of 50%.
